Thus, Regal Group of entertainment is the second largest theatrical chain across the whole United States of America.Its headquarters are in Halls Crossroads, in Tennessee. History of REGAL TICKET
Mike Campbell founded the Regal Cinemas in the year 1989 in Tennessee, United States. The growth of Regal Cinemas took place firstly in most of the sub-urban areas. In these sub-urban areas Regalcinemas features a premium café under the name of Café Del Moro. As it is the habitual fact of all the major cinemas across the world that they consume the small-small chains of theatres and expand themselves. Regal theatres did the same as they purchased many theatre chains like, Act III theatres, RC theatres, Cobb Theatres, etc. But, these expansions didn’t last long, as the Regal Theatre Company like the fate of many big companies suffered from bankruptcy till 2002. In the year 2002, a keen investor Philip Anschutz made some investments in the bankrupted companies and majorly the three companies, Regal Theatres, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres. These three theatre groups were merged under a single unit and the unit adopted the name of Regal Entertainment groups. Mike Campbell became the co-CEO of the company. After merging these companies the consolidation of the group began again. Regal Entertainment group purchased Eastern Federal Theatres, etc. In the year 2008, this consolidation came to an end and the company owned over 400 screens in approximately 28 theatres. The, the Regal Group started working on the improvements of its theatres. In the year 2009, Regal decided to equip its theatres with the Sony 4k projections. In the following years, many of its theatres were upgraded with better speaker systems like Dolby Atmos, Real 3D screens were installed. All these facilities and luxuries were made available to the people through the very reasonable Regal Ticket prices.
