Founded in 1974 by Sam Ross in Memphis, Tennessee, Fantastic Sams is one of the largest chains of salons in U.S. It is a family owned business running in 10 different locations in Las Vegas and looking for expansion. It is a full service hair-care salon with around 1250 franchised locations around U.S. and Canada. The franchising of the salon only began in 1976 with the name ‘Incredible Sam’s’ which was later changed to ‘Fantastic Sam’s’ in 1981 for its ease of use. Apart from offering salon services at the most fantastic prices, the brand is also popular for its hair-care products with the same name. The company was acquired in 2011 by a European beauty salon chain called Dessange international.
